Microsoft introduces Voice Clarity, leveraging AI technology to enhance the video calling experience on Windows 11. Initially exclusive to Surface devices, this feature is now accessible to all users and has premiered in the latest Canary build for Windows 11.

Fueled by advanced AI models, the latest Voice Clarity feature effectively mitigates background noise, minimizes reverberation, and eliminates echoes in real-time.

While informing about the feature via blogpost, Microsoft wrote, “Voice Clarity is a feature that enhances your audio experience on Windows with state-of-the-art AI technology. Powered by low complexity AI models, Voice Clarity cancels echo, suppresses background noise, and reduces reverberation in real-time.”

“This feature is enabled by default and can be utilized by applications using Communications Signal Processing Mode, such as Phone Link and WhatsApp. No additional hardware is required, as Voice Clarity is supported on x64 and Arm64 CPUs.” the Richmond based company added.

The upcoming feature will be particularly beneficial for users who frequently meet online. Microsoft emphasizes that it will also contribute to enhancing the audio quality in PC games utilizing the Communications Signal Processing Mode for online communication.

In addition to various enhancements, the Canary Build of Windows 11 introduces several new features. This includes enabling users to access their most recent photos, screenshots, and pictures captured on their Android device directly in the Snipping Tool on Windows 11. Once this feature is activated, users will receive notifications on their PC whenever a new photo or screenshot is taken on their Android phone.

Furthermore, the recent build will commence offering support for the latest USB standard, USB 80Gbps, on specific devices powered by Intel Core 14th Gen HX-series mobile processors, such as the Razer Blade 18.
