Vivo has intensified the competition in India’s sub-₹30,000 price segment with the introduction of the Vivo V30e smartphone. Priced starting at ₹27,999, this camera-centric smartphone is set to challenge rivals such as the Realme 12 Pro, Nothing Phone 2a, and OnePlus Nord CE 4.

The Vivo V30e is priced at ₹27,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant. Additionally, customers can enjoy a 10% instant discount by using HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank cards, further reducing the cost of this device. This latest smartphone will be accessible for purchase on Flipkart, Vivo’s official website, and retail stores starting from May 9.


The V30e features a 6.78-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. It is equipped with the Octa-Core Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, built on a 4nm TSMC process, and is complemented by the Adreno 710 GPU for handling graphics-intensive tasks. This smartphone is available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the option to expand storage via the microSD card slot.

The newest smartphone operates on Funtouch 14, which is built on the Android 14 operating system. Additionally, Vivo guarantees 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches for this device.

The Vivo V30e comes with a substantial 5,500mAh battery, which can be charged using the included 44W adapter. It is offered in two color options: Silk Blue and Velvet Red. Additionally, the phone boasts features such as IP64 dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, 5G connectivity, and a USB Type-C port (USB 2.0).

In terms of its camera system, the phone features a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX 882 primary sensor with OIS and Aura light support, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, the phone boasts a 50MP front-facing shooter, promising crisp and detailed photos.
