“Nothing” is a new UK-based electronics brand, upstart by Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus. Nothing has finally launched its first product “Nothing Ear 1” a wireless earphone. “Nothing Ear 1” will be available in India from August 17 through the online shopping website Flipkart and come with premium features, like active noise cancellation and wireless charging.


Nothing Ear (1) will comes with a new design language “transparent design”. The earpieces are transparent at the stems, and the charging case is also transparent to keep an eye on your earbuds at all times. The company states, “We gave ear (1) transparent veneers to highlight and celebrate the craftsmanship underneath, and reveal the raw beauty of our technology.”

Nothing Ear (1) has a weight of 4.7g and comes with 11.6mm speaker driver. the Nothing Ear 1 feature active noise cancellation, with two levels of intensity to control the level.

The Nothing Ear 1 has touch controls to allow for easy control of playback, noise cancellation and transparency modes, and volume. In terms of battery charge, the Nothing Ear (1) boasts a playback time of up to 34 hours. The earbuds individually provide 5 hours of listening time (included in 34 hours). Nothing has also claimed the earbuds can be charged wirelessly and can be charged fast. The earbuds get IPX4 certified sweat and dust resistance.
