Renault has globally revealed the next-generation Duster. The mid-size SUV, which is anticipated to arrive in India in 2025, will showcase contemporary exterior design, a feature-rich interior, and new engine choices with this latest iteration.
Externally, the Renault Duster, or the rebranded Dacia Duster, presents a robust and tough appearance. Noteworthy design elements encompass a muscular and upright hood with ridges, Y-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), updated front and rear aesthetics, and wraparound LED taillights forming a Y-shape. Additional design features include sturdy wheel arches, body cladding, practical roof rails, rear door handles mounted on the pillars, an extended roof spoiler, and assertive front and rear bumpers.
Regarding the interior and features, the new Duster’s cabin marks a significant departure from the previous generation. The SUV’s dashboard now showcases a prominent 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree surround camera, an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, Y-shaped air conditioning vents, a fully digital instrument cluster, controls mounted on the steering wheel, a redesigned steering wheel, an updated center console with a new gear selector dial, and fresh seat upholstery.
Regarding the powertrain and specifications, the global model will provide three engine choices: a 1.6-liter petrol-hybrid, a 1.2-liter petrol-hybrid, and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with LPG compatibility designed for specific markets. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that the first two options will be included in the forthcoming Duster for the Indian market.
